Experience Life on the Shore

Explore The Area

Welcome to Maryland’s Eastern Shore

A picturesque region along the Chesapeake Bay, this is a place where small-town charm meets modern amenities for a laid-back, sophisticated lifestyle steeped in rich Colonial history and Victorian architecture.

An easy commute from Baltimore in the north and Washington D.C. in the west, shore living is accessible for those wanting to forget about city hustle and bustle and unplug in a place where time slows down.

Life on the Shore means stepping into a world of centuries-old tradition of hospitality and community – while enjoying Maryland’s unparalleled crabs and oysters harvested daily along the relaxing waterfront.

Many of my clients work in the big city but rest on the Shore in homes that are retreats for rejuvenation and inspiration. Others chose to retire here because of the area’s laid-back sophistication with easy access to boating, gorgeous sunsets, and deep community.

Rural Simplicity Meets Urban Refinement

While life along the bay is full of history, culture, and modern amenities – foodies will love the many fine dining options, and history lovers will light up during the quaint Fourth of July celebrations – it’s the people that make this place so special.

Here, you’ll know your neighbors, meeting them on walks along tree-lined streets of front-porch neighborhoods or while crabbing or fishing along the many boat landings.

You’ll nurture friendship over a delicious coffee and sandwich at a personality-filled cafe, and reconnect with your Colonial roots listening to stories in a mom-and-pop shop next to a historic memorial.

There is always a river to be fished, a recreational path to explore, or a festival to attend along the waterfront – all while meeting the new faces drawn to the picturesque shoreline and the heartwarming community that is the Chesapeake Bay.

Gems Along the Bay

With over 600 miles of shoreline, the Chesapeake Bay is dotted with charming towns to call home. Turn off Route 50 or Hwy. 301 and travel down country roads past cornfields and marshes before happening upon any number of townships with a lot to offer. Here are a two of my favorites:
